IATA launched NDC (New Distribution Capability) a decade ago to transform the way airlines retail their products and services. Despite the hype, there hasn’t been a significant shift in the uptake of NDC bookings. However, 2023 looks like the year that this can finally change.

So, if you haven’t been involved in NDC until now, 2023 is the perfect time to start. Over the coming months, we will be sharing a wealth of information about NDC, from technology to useful facts, and dispelling common myths.     One Order is a new initiative from IATA that aims to simplify the travel booking process by creating a single order for all elements of a traveler’s journey, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation. We will take you through how it helps standardize the way that these elements are ordered and managed, making it easier for travelers and travel agents to book and manage their travel.
  8. Interline in NDC, does it work?
    We will talk about how it is possible to provide interline functionality in NDC, making it easier for travelers to book multi-airline itineraries.
  9. 21.3, what does it mean?
    21.3 refers to the version of the NDC standard that was released in 2021. We will talk about its new features and improvements that make it easier for airlines and travel sellers to offer personalized and relevant offers to travelers.
