TPConnects – a global, travel content aggregation and distribution innovative technology company – is currently seeking a Techno Sales Specialist. The role will be in the Commercial Team. As a Techno Sales Specialist for our Airline NDC Solution, you will play a crucial role in engaging with prospective airline clients, understanding their technical and business needs, and effectively demonstrating the value proposition of our NDC solution. You will collaborate closely with our sales, product, and technical teams to deliver compelling presentations, respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. The successful candidate will be joining our international team, mainly based in Dubai.
What you will do
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and challenges, providing technical insights and solutions to effectively address their needs.
- Offer expert advice on integration options, customization possibilities, and technical feasibility to potential clients.
- Conduct engaging and persuasive product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our Airline NDC Solution to potential clients.
- Tailor demonstrations to align with the specific needs and challenges of each airline, highlighting how our solution can address their pain points.
- Lead the technical aspects of RFP responses by gathering information, crafting detailed and accurate responses, and ensuring all technical requirements are addressed.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product managers and technical teams, to gather necessary information for RFP submissions.
- Provide ongoing technical support and guidance throughout the sales cycle to nurture client relationships.
- In-depth understanding of the Airline distribution solution, its features, benefits, and integration capabilities.
- Stay updated with current industry trends and emerging technologies related to airline distribution and NDC standards.
- Proactively suggest updates, trend changes, comparative studies of competitors and based on market research
- Provide technical guidance and insights to potential clients regarding the implementation and customization of the solution to meet their specific needs.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure successful client onboarding, implementation, and ongoing satisfaction.
- Provide valuable feedback from the field to contribute to product enhancements and improvements.
What you must have
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business).
- Proven experience in a techno-sales role within the airline or travel technology industry, preferably with exposure to NDC solutions.
- Strong technical background and understanding of APIs, integrations, and software development concepts.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
- Experience responding to RFPs and crafting detailed technical proposals.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, demonstrations, and industry events.
- Prior knowledge of Airlines / PSS / GDS / NDC / distribution channels will be a plus.
